Head:
12 or 13 supralabial; rostral and first four supralabials pitted; suboculars absent.
Dorsal:
Smooth scales in 66-80 rows.
Ventral:
290-332; narrow; anal undivided.
Sub Caudal:
75-102; usually paired in zig-zag manner.
Diet:
Feeds on variety of birds; reptiles including crocodiles, monitors; small to big mammals including tigers.
